JDownloader

JDownloader is an open source multiplatform download manager that is totally written in java. Thanks to this program you will be able to manage and download links from file hosting services like Megaupload or Rapidshare. The program is designed to be used by both premium and nonpremium users.

  JDownloader will allow us to download various files simultaneously, managing the amount of resources used to download a file according to the importance level the user has assigned. The application is also able to recognize the cyphered letters (better known as Captcha) related to each link, so it automatically download all the files, once they are downloaded the application will decompress the files (including the option to decompress password secured files, if we know the password). We can add new links to be downloaded by simply copying the link to the clipboard, JDownloader will automatically recognize it, and will add it to the download queue, allowing us to manage file groups or folders. Furthermore, we can add additional direct download hosts manually.

  The program offers a modern GUI with icon representing each one of the available functions, and thanks to its update system, it's only necessary to click once to have the latest version. Furthermore, the program has a configuration menu that is devided into categories, with all the necessary things to maximize its performance.
